Hi Dr. Sahlin,
In my ongoing mission to take the
theories of feminism--such as
equality plus justice--to action or
practice and more importantly to
protect my Alma Mater from those
with the power and privilege, which
students lack, I have these queries:
1. When did the Women's Studies
M.A. begin at TWU, and how many
students with an undergraduate
degree in science and/or
engineering have been awarded
this M.A.?
2. How many male students of
color have been awarded this
M.A. since its inception?
3. I recall earning an A+ for a
short yet creative paper titled
something like The Invisible
Hand of Macro-Motherhood,
but you told Dr. Rubin--in
writing--that I never wrote an
A+ paper, thus, making me look
like a liar before faculty
during my critical grade appeal.
Was this in error?
4. If I were a dual Masters
candidate pursing an M.B.A. and
an M.A., by how many graduate
hours am I above or below the
requirements for your M.A.?
As a recipient of my Alma Mater's
highest honor, the Cornaro Award,
thank you for clarifying these
concerns pertaining to equality,
justice, and especially professional
integrity!
Respectfully,
Suran Wije
