Dear Student Regent Blanco:

After waiting approximately 1.5 years, I finally received official letterhead confirmation by certified mail from the Chancellor/President and Provost/Vice President that my grade appeal decision is final (the Provost--my fifth level of appeal--had been silent on this matter since Monday, 11/14/11, 7:50 a.m.).

Thus, there is no other level for me to appeal internally within my Alma Mater; consequently, I must now appeal externally, and this may take another 1.5 years or longer. I am writing to you now to alert the Board of Regents to protect any documentary evidence and not allow it to be spoiled or destroyed before the completion of an external audit. Ink dating of original documents may be necessary.

Please confirm the receipt of this e-mail and the forwarding to the Board.
